Mu Alpha, Phi Mu Alpha, and Sigma Alpha Iota recruited 27 students last semester.

Mu Alpha added five new members during the fall semester, all who are from the sophomore class: Matthew Hoenig, Matthew Bellinger, Michael Zabik, Randall Rush, and Nick Baldwin.

This is only the second semester Mu Alpha has done fall recruitment, so they were happy with five pledges, said junior Daniel Negri, president of Mu Alpha.

Phi Mu Alpha had the most successful recruitment of all fraternities on campus last semester, according to junior Jack Shannon.

“We increased the size of the fraternity by two-thirds,” Shannon said.

The probationary pledge class consists of thirteen members.

Eight from the freshman class: Dean Sinclair, Adam Pierce, Nathan Steinmeyer, Stephen Savas, Jacob Hann, Brant Cohen, Mark Naida, and Collin Saunders.

Two from the sophomore class: Tyler Groenendal and David Johnson.

Three from the junior class: Joel Calvert, Will Gage, and Forester McClatchey.

Sigma Alpha Iota music sorority gained nine members.

Five were recruited from the sophomore class: Grace Link, Patience Tyne,
Alexandra Howell, Emily Blatter, and Sydnee Heim.

Four from the junior class: Madison Kearney, Alie Cucinelli, Bailey Bergmann, and Eleanor Smith.
