Conservative and conservation both have the same root word. So why are students who care about recycling immediately labeled as liberal wackos? Dealing with full-time problems in Michigan Legislature does almost nothing but complicate the grim circumstance. The state's problems are vast. The budget has not been in worse shape in 50 years, and a March 2006 Citizens Research Council of Michigan study showed the state's "The Big Three" continues to drag the state down with its declining numbers. Book burning is the equivalent of dropping bombs. Last week, an article on a former Facebook group encouraged the burning of important books. And some at Hillsdale, a place where books are read to free the mind and develop the soul, supported the statement. (1) comment
