Passing the Torch The popular student bands Juny and The Hotness will split up after its members graduate in May, leaving behind a pair of new student bands whose members hope to keep campus rocking at this year's Centralhall-apalooza and beyond. Hollywood's summer movie season looks promising, with highly anticipated sequels and under-the-radar independent films waiting in the wings. Beside big budget productions, such as "X-men Origins: Wolverine" and "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince," some independent films are scheduled for release, promising to offer quality and quirky alternatives to the rash of action-packed flicks. The Hillsdale College and Community Symphony Orchestra spring concert will have an American theme, featuring Aaron Copeland's "Lincoln Portrait," selections from the work of Samuel Barber and a musical rendition of "Casey at the Bat." The performance will feature student percussionists, including senior Rob Ogden, and several student soloists, including junior Emily Thiessen, sophomore Isaac Johnson, sophomore Nick Nestorak, and fifth-year senior Jeff Myers.
